Environmental Rooms

Pneu-Mech environmental rooms ensure consistent high quality application of paint and other finishes by virtually eliminating outside contaminants. Environmental rooms are equipped with automatic climate control systems designed to maintain an environment at optimal coating conditions. They can prevent fumes, spray dust and other results from the finishing process from infiltrating into other aspects of a company’s manufacturing areas.

The Environmental Room is designed to maintain temperature and humidity for Powder Coating. The temperature is held at a constant range of 70º F ± 5º and humidity at 50% RH ± 10%. The environmental room also maintains a slightly positive pressure to prevent contaminants from entering the room through the part opening. Design air velocity through the product openings and door is maintained at about 120 fpm.
